West Denver

West Denver is a well-located area comprised of pre-war neighborhoods and mid century neighborhoods.  The neighborhoods range from semi-urban in character to suburban, and include Barnum + Barnum West, Harvey Park, Villa Park, Athmar Park, Bear Valley, Marston, Fort Logan, College View, South Platte, Ruby Hill, and Mar Lee.  

West Denver has good access to Downtown via 6th Avenue Freeway, as well as West Light Rail Line that continues west to the Jeffco government complex and Golden.  Additionally, West Denver is very close to the Belmar development in Lakewood and its retail opportunities including Whole Foods and Super Target, and affords easy access to the DTC and South Denver via Hampden Ave (US 285) and C-470 beltway.

Lots are generally larger in West Denver and ranch style homes are plentiful in many of these neighborhoods.  

For outdoor lovers, these neighborhoods benefit from closer proximity to the foothills, Red Rocks, and also the high country further west.
